Nature Walk

The Nature trail starts at the north end of the Lodge through a dense forest. It is a great opportunity to learn about the plants, birds, small mammals and herbal medication with our resident Naturalist and Massai Warrior.

Village Walks

The village walk starts from the Lodge gates towards the village of Kibuweni – this is about a 20 to 30 minute walk. During the walk you will be introduced to the surrounding area by stopping at the main bore hole where villagers get their daily water supplies, a sunflower plantation and a dried river bed. This is home to many different types of animals and plants – many of these plants are used in local medication.
